    Thu 21 Sep 2023 Mrs O'Malley

A big welcome to our new school dog, Martha. Martha is a 4 month old cavapoo. The children are loving having her in school, they are listening very carefully to the important rules to stay safe around her.

Please read the attached letter for more information, you will find this under the parents tab.

  • Teddy Bear's Picnic

    Fri 21 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

Families were invited to join us for a picnic on our last day. Lots of families arrived, ate lots of food and more importantly had lots of fun!!

This was a great way to say goodbye before we broke up for the summer and we had to say a final goodbye to our Year 2s as they start the next part of their school journey at the Junior School.

Have a great summer everybody! See you in September.

  • Year 2 Leavers Performance

    Wed 19 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

The grown ups were invited to see their child perform for their very last time at Henry Bradley. They also received a certificate of achievement as they have all been so amazing. We have enjoyed having them as part of our school family for the last few years.

The performance was great, there was not a dry eye in the house!

We wish our Year 2s all of the success in the world for their future.

  • Sports Day 2023

    Wed 05 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

We hold a traditional Sports Day on our field for the parents to watch every year, and every year I lose my voice from cheering and shouting! It is always a packed event with lots of parents at the sidelines encouraging and cheering their child on.

This year was a hot one, but the children were brilliant. Both the Reception children at their Sports Day and the Year 1 and 2 at the Keystage 1 at theirs did themselves proud!

  • Community Summer Fayre

    Sat 01 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

We held our first weekend community Summer Fayre. It was an amazing and very busy event. It was wonderful to see lots of our local community, there were familiar visitors as well as visitors who we had not seen before. This made our day as we want our school to be a hub for the whole community. This was such a successful day, we even managed to make £1000 to contribute to some new outdoor equipment. Roll on next year, it will be even bigger and even better! We have booked lots already, including Jungle Jo who will be bringing lots of animals for you to see!  See you there!

  • Whole School Family Trip to Cleethorpes

    Fri 23 Jun 2023 Mrs O'Malley

The whole school with our families had a day trip to Cleethorpes. After lots of organisation, we finally got there, the children and their families had a brilliant time!

It was amazing as a Headteacher to see the whole school community altogether.  This trip will certainly be one I always remember fondly.

  • Father's Day Event - Doughnuts for Dad

    Fri 16 Jun 2023 Mrs O'Malley

It was the Dad's/the special males in our children's lives to come and join us. This time there were lots and lots of doughnuts and juice.

The grown ups also got to join in with their child at a variety of outdoor activities. The children enjoyed having their grown ups at school. It was lovely to see so many of them at the event!

  • The King's Coronation Celebrations

    Fri 05 May 2023 Mrs O'Malley

We had a fabulous day celebrating the King's Coronation. We did lots and lots of different activities in the classrooms, including researching the time line of the King, we designed and created crowns.

We also had a special Coronation buffet lunch, and at the end of the day the whole school, including our Nursery children performed a  Coronation dance to our parents. Charlotte from Articulate Dance choreographed this for us, and it was brilliant.

The parents then joined us in classrooms for some fun activities including enjoying a selfie station with lots of Coronation/Royal props!

A brilliant day had by all!

  • Mothers Day Afternoon Tea

    Fri 17 Mar 2023 Mrs O'Malley

We know the Mums/special females work super hard every day to give the best to their children, so at Henry Bradley, we think that they deserve a special treat. Therefore over the week, they were invited to join their child for an afternoon tea together.

The children loved their grown up being in school, and we had great feedback from the grown ups too!
