Welcome to Tiger Class

At Henry Bradley, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to 'Reach for the Stars' and achieve their full potential. In Tiger class, we create a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported in every step of their learning journey.

Our approach is designed to help children grow both academically and personally. With our caring and experienced staff, each child is encouraged to develop their confidence, curiosity, and love for learning. We understand that each child is unique, and we celebrate their individuality, helping them to flourish at their own pace.

Useful Information

• PE days are Mondays, children come to school in their PE clothes
• Reading books are changed on a Monday
• We encourage all families to read together at home, reading can be logged in your child’s reading record
• Our outdoor learning area is open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Children will be in school uniform, on these days could you please send children with appropriate outdoor clothing (coat for winter/ hat for summer)

Learning Through Play

Year 1 now offers continuous provision, an exciting and dynamic way of learning that encourages exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. Children will have opportunities to engage in a variety of activities that support their development in all areas of the curriculum. Through play-based learning, children will be able to choose activities that interest them while building key skills in a fun, interactive, and meaningful way.

Our classrooms are filled with engaging resources that invite children to explore, experiment, and discover new ideas. From building and creating with blocks to storytelling and role play, every corner is designed to spark imagination and inspire learning.

We believe that learning should be joyful, and by combining structured lessons with opportunities for independent exploration, we aim to foster a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
