  • Teddy Bear's Picnic

    Fri 21 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

Families were invited to join us for a picnic on our last day. Lots of families arrived, ate lots of food and more importantly had lots of fun!!

This was a great way to say goodbye before we broke up for the summer and we had to say a final goodbye to our Year 2s as they start the next part of their school journey at the Junior School.

Have a great summer everybody! See you in September.

  • Year 2 Leavers Performance

    Wed 19 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

The grown ups were invited to see their child perform for their very last time at Henry Bradley. They also received a certificate of achievement as they have all been so amazing. We have enjoyed having them as part of our school family for the last few years.

The performance was great, there was not a dry eye in the house!

We wish our Year 2s all of the success in the world for their future.

  • Sports Day 2023

    Wed 05 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

We hold a traditional Sports Day on our field for the parents to watch every year, and every year I lose my voice from cheering and shouting! It is always a packed event with lots of parents at the sidelines encouraging and cheering their child on.

This year was a hot one, but the children were brilliant. Both the Reception children at their Sports Day and the Year 1 and 2 at the Keystage 1 at theirs did themselves proud!

  • Community Summer Fayre

    Sat 01 Jul 2023 Mrs O'Malley

We held our first weekend community Summer Fayre. It was an amazing and very busy event. It was wonderful to see lots of our local community, there were familiar visitors as well as visitors who we had not seen before. This made our day as we want our school to be a hub for the whole community. This was such a successful day, we even managed to make £1000 to contribute to some new outdoor equipment. Roll on next year, it will be even bigger and even better! We have booked lots already, including Jungle Jo who will be bringing lots of animals for you to see!  See you there!
